The concept I found more complex is TIME. No one knows when time orginated .Some say it was there from the orgin of universe.But another question ‘when the univerese came into being?’ would make them speechless.Some say it started from the time of big bang theory .So we can only say or point out the beging of time on the basis of some abstract Ideas , I would say.But I think another side of it. Time as a concept introduced by man,for his daily activities .So with this concept if we look for the answer for the above question ,we wont be able to find the answer .So as a matter of fact we would belive that it had neither a begining nor an end.

The concept or our concept Time is not same all over.At the same Instant or moment we would have 2 different times in 2 distint places.S the concept time is unique to each places.It changes with every longitude . We have took sun as our reference point of time.So it depends on the phases of the earth facing the sun which inturn determinse the concept ‘day and night’.

Now time has become more complex than it was during the earlier days.You may know the small units of time such as milli,micro,and nano but not of something such as pico,femto,atto,zepto,yocto and many more.

Nowadays I don’t see much of people who are wearing old analog watches or using those type of clocks.Now every one is equiped with the digital watches which even shows the minute divisions of time.See how accurate it is and will be.

The process of getting signals directly through satellites,Direct to home (dth).DD direct + was started in 2004 December 16 in Delhi .This was done with the help of Insat 4 satellite.

Today doordarshan has 46 studios , 19 channels ,1400 testimonials . Even though the past 25-30 years witnessed the arrival of new channels . doordarshan now also is the most trusted channel for more than 90% of Indians .so we can be proud of what doordarshan has achieved .

Thinking about onam the few things which comes to our mind is atthapookalam  and onasadhya.Taking those two into considerations we will get an estimate of how costly is it .An onasadhya of one person will cost at least a 100 ruppes. And it is better not to say about the prices of flowers ,I do fear that you might have some heart attack.

Just yesterday , when I was in the town i just got myself into a banana shop for  buying some chips. I soon got out as i was surprised as a packet contaning almost half kilogram of banana chip costs 90 rupees .Its better to have an onam without chips.Like that all the commodities now has a price ,which a normal family cannot afford to.

We all know that in the festive seasons there are demand for various commodities .but not so much as the goods being less available. Investigations from some local news channels have already proved that these price hike are as a result of unfair means of transfer of goods  for common people provided by government of India.When I just compared some of the prices ,I found that ..

1 kg of sugar in govt: authorized distribution shops costs Rs.14 for a person have an APL card.

while the same commodity of same quality  and quantity costs Rs.37 in other shops.

look at the difference .But the fact is that when we go to such ration shops for our ration  ,they say that there is no stock there.But the government have said that they are providing more than 10kg of rice and sufficient quantities of other goods also .but these goods are been sold in black in other shops.I am so sad to say that there is no response from governments side on this topic.

In current circumstances a common family is not able to celebrate the onam .

This is the saying which have been heard by all the malayaleese till date.I don’t know whether the future generations would be aware of this but still they also celebrate onam.I too don’t know so much about this , still i celebrate onam.It is the most celebrated festival  in Kerala.Celebrated by all without considering it as religious festival.

Onam is celebrated in remembrance of late “ mahabali “ , who was a king of Kerala  mainland during the olden centuries .It was believed that he was sent to “pathalam “ by “mahavishnu” who came as “vamanan”.He was given a chance to visit Kerala during every onam season.(even though –he might not be sent this due to fear of being affected by h1n1 virus).All the people of Kerala gets ready for his arrival and make:-“atthatpookalam” , “onamsadhya” and with various cultural events like “vallamkali” ,thiruvathirakali” , “pulikalli” , “ vadmvali “ and “unjalattam”.

Athapukalam (the traditional floral carpet made in the front courtyard of the houses with various colorful flowers .

You all know whose is this.It was said by the first prime minister of India .Pt Jawaharlal Nehru.He was fond of children’s and he used to carry a rose which resembles young blooming buds(children’s).But the fact which I am going to bring up to your mind is “Child Labour”.Childrens –who are the Future promises for a country are being treated badly and forced to work hard.

I think on this particular day which is celebrated as the ‘Anti child labour day’ is the best  day to write on this particular topic.

Child labour

The term child labour generally refers to any economic activity performed by a person under the age of 15.-Defined by the International Labour Organization(ILO).

The age limit may vary in different countries .

• India has the largest number of child labours in the world.
• In India laborers below the age 14 are treated as child labourers.
• There are more than 16 million child labourers in India.

Child labour is the violation of human rights. But it is happening is due to the poor living conditions and lack of money for buying food.So it is undoubtedly the responsibility of the government to improve the living standard of the poor and thus restrict the number of child labourers,

“Child labour is punishable.”-slogans of many anti child labour organization and child welfare organizations. Still there is no reduction in the number of children’s working.

Causes

• The most important cause of child labour is POVERTY.The poor families are generally large in size.They have limited means of support themselves.In such condition they are forced to work so early in the life.
• Another cause is indebtedness  of family.they will not be able to pay back the borrowed money to the greedy money lenders.so this compels the children’s to work as servants.
• The orphans and the street children who runs away from the home are exploited  by the greedy people.

Child protection

The Indian constitution provides the following provisions towards the protection of the child.

Article  23 provides prohibition of traffic in human beings and forced labour it bans buying and selling of human beings.

Article 24 states that no child below the age of 14  shall be employed to work in a factory or mine or engaged in any other hazardous work.

Child labour has become continuously growing problem over the years .But it has also become a subject that is often avoided or ignored by the society.Child labour is not only affecting society but un fortunately it is affecting children’s physically as well as mentally.So it must be stopped .

After a two match lose for both the teams , these  two can now go back home without entering the super eight .This year the competition is tight and many big teams had lost to many upcoming teams.like:
